Young players out in full force at All-Star game

A lot of familiar faces were missing from this year’s game, with first-timers and other young players taking their places. Lisa Leslie, who played in all seven previous All-Star games, is sitting out this season due to pregnancy (she gave birth to a daughter last month). Houston’s six-time All-Star Sheryl Swoopes has been sidelined since late May due to a back injury.
