Canucks sign Bieksa for 3 years, $11.25M

The Vancouver Canucks signed defenseman Kevin Bieksa to a $11.25-million, three-year contract extension Monday, and also added free agent Aaron Miller. Bieksa led all Canucks defensemen with 30 assists and 42 points last season. The extension runs through the 2010-11 campaign. The 26-year-old will make $4.25 million in 2008-09 and $3.5 million in each of the final two seasons.
