George Washington extends Hobbs’ deal

George Washington basketball coach Karl Hobbs agreed Monday to a contract extension through 2012. Hobbs is 114-65 since being hired by George Washington in 2001, including NCAA tournament appearances the last three seasons. The Colonials have won two Atlantic 10 tournament titles in the last three years.
