The Chicago Fire need a win and some help to clinch a playoff spot. That victory might not come easy Saturday when the Fire visit Eastern Conference-leading D.C. United, a team that has not lost an MLS match at home since April. Chicago (9-10-9) is in eighth place in the playoff chase and will wrap up a berth Saturday if it wins this game while 11th-place Los Angeles fails to beat Toronto FC.
