Cummings’ 90th-minute goal leads Rapids past Chivas USA

Omar Cummings scored in the 90th minute to give the Colorado Rapids a 2-1 victory over CD Chivas USA on Sunday in Major League Soccer. Ugo Ihemelu also had a second-half goal to help Colorado (9-12-8) remain in playoff contention. The Rapids (9-12-8) need a victory over Real Salt Lake on Saturday and some help to get into the postseason.
